I work on a wide range of projects at both national and international levels. These include developing strategic frameworks such as the Logistics Location Strategy, implementing digital solutions in the logistics sector, and launching initiatives to enhance the attractiveness of education and training in logistics.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I particularly appreciate the thematic breadth of the logistics field. The variety of tasks makes my work diverse and exciting. Each day brings new challenges and gives me the opportunity to contribute conceptually, operationally, and creatively.

What qualifications are needed to work in your profession?
I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Transport Management at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. While a degree is not strictly required for working in a ministry, it is especially desirable for specialized positions. In addition, my several years of practical experience in a freight forwarding company were an important foundation for my professional development.

What are your daily tasks in your job?
I support travel agencies and corporate clients in the Austrian as well as the Central and Eastern European markets, focusing primarily on sales and marketing activities. Even though I work in the passenger sector, my job involves a lot of planning, capacity management, and coordinating supply and demand – topics that are closely connected to logistics.

What do you like most about your job?
Aviation has always fascinated me and continues to motivate me to this day. I particularly appreciate the variety in my daily work, the international environment, the exchange with different nationalities, and the opportunity to actively contribute to better load factors on board.

What kind of training or education is needed to work in your field?
A business-related education with a focus on transport/logistics or tourism is helpful. Strong organizational skills, good communication abilities, and an interest in international contexts are also important.
